THE YEAR I WAS BORN

Julietta Cruz's parents were happily married when her mother realized she was pregnant,(USE A PERIOD HERE.) it took her as (A) big surprise because she wasn't really planning on having a baby. But, she couldn't be happier so as (GET RIDE OF "SO AS" AND USE "AND NEITHER COULD") her husband. Months passed and there were many things running through their mind(S) because this was their first baby! Was it going to be a baby girl or a baby boy? How should they decorate the baby's room? Where (WERE) they going to be good parents? But even though they were nervous and wondering all the time, they were still very happy about the idea of having another member in the family. Now there was not going to be two of them but three. How exciting would that be!

Since they lived in the Bronx, New York, they started to look for a good hospital,(USE PERIOD HERE. THIS IS A RUN-ON SENTENCE.) they decided to have the baby at Mount Sinai hospital. Located in Queens, New York (THIS IS A FRAGMENT). The due date was October 15th (,) but her mother started to have contractions the night of October 11th around 10 o'clock, (THIS IS A RUN-ON SENTENCE.) her husband took her to the hospital immediately and they took care of her but they said the baby was not going to come out yet so she had to wait till the next day and spend the night at the hospital (THIS IS A RUN-ON SENTENCE). The next day at 9 o'clock in the morning a cute little girl was born, (THIS IS A RUN-ON SENTENCE.) she weighted 8 pounds, (THIS IS A RUN-ON SENTENCE.) it was a natural birth and an easy delivery. They named her Julietta, because her dad liked that name.

Julietta was a happy little girl, who had all the toys and attention she wanted and needed. She loved playing, (RUN-ON) barbies were her favorite (RUN-ON) she had a bunch of them (,) but her favorite one was dance magic barbie, which had just came out. Julietta loved watching T.V (RUN-ON) her mom used to say that Julietta's favorite T.V show(S) were the Muppet Babies show and Fullhouse because she always laughed when she watched them (,) but she also liked the commercials (e)specially the Taco Bell ones, (RUN-ON) when Julietta was about a year old (,) her mom bought her the movie Beauty and the Beast and it became her favorite movie to watch, (RUN-ON) she also liked music and dancing (e)specially the song called Cant Touch This by MC Hammer which came out on the same year she was born.

On (IN) 1990 some people dressed in a very colorful way and with very different clothes from the ones we use today. Thats (USE APOSTROPHE BETWEEN T AND S IN THAT'S) why now a days some people could find them funny or 0ut-of-fashion. Politically talkin(G) the president of the time was George W. Bush who in the same year vetoed civil rights bill in spite of its signicant (MISSPELLED) support in the congress, (RUN-ON) president bush vetoes the civil rights bill of 1990, which would have established racial quotas in employment.
